This year IASSCS will continue to offer two awards for outstanding scholarship to beginning researchers. Each prize will consist of US$ 500 (Five hundred U.S. Dollars). One will be offered to an oral presentation and one will be for a poster.
The journal Culture, Health and Sexuality will also offer a prize to the author of the best paper by a ‘newcomer’ to research in the field of sexuality, culture and health.
To be considered for these awards:
- Conference participants should be sole authors of the papers considered.
- Their work should remain unpublished at the time of the meeting.
- Participants must be within three years of having completed a Masters Degree or Doctorate in the field of sexuality, and must be able to produce proof of this.
- Send an e-mail to: 2011conference@iasscs.org with the following information:
- Indicate your willingness to be considered for the “Oral Presentation Award” or “Poster Presentation Award”.
- Curriculum Vitae (Max. two pages long)
- Complete paper, only for “Oral Presentation Award”. Posters will be reviewed during the conference.
Deadline for submitting application and full paper: May 25th 2011.
A special Committee will review candidate papers and posters and their decision will be announced during the Conference Closing Ceremony.
