Post- Conference Training Initiatives - PCT
Since 2005, IASSCS and its partner institutions have conducted post-conference courses in San Francisco (2005), in Lima (2007) and in Hanoi (2009). These classes have provided an important venue to:
Discuss the main theoretical debates and political controversies regarding sexuality and gender;
Examine some key subjects of research in sexuality, such as sexual and reproductive health, sexual identities and practices, social mobilization around sexuality, and sexual rights;
Allow participants to develop their own research agenda and projects in the field.
The next PCT will be held in Madrid, July 2011. More information soon.
